AS A LOCAL, PRIVATELY-OWNED GROUP OF COMPANIES, BEAL HOLDINGS HAS ALWAYS BEEN A KEEN SUPPORTER OF LOCAL SPORT.

Beal Homes has been the main sponsor of Hull's premier rugby union club, Hull RUFC, since the club was established in 1992. Both Chairman John Beal and Managing Director Richard Beal, a former 1st XV captain, are closely and enthusiastically involved in the club.

Beal Homes' sponsorship, which has included general financial support and contributions to club house and ground improvements, has helped the club to climb to the North 1 league. Now, with a move to a new purpose-built ground on the cards for 2007, the club is ambitious for a place in the national leagues.

We have also supported many local sports from grass roots to top level over the years and former rugby professional and England Under 21s captain Chris Murphy, who joined us in 2006 as land surveyor, has a remit to further develop Beal Homes' involvement in club and school sport.

In 2005 Beal Homes was main sponsor of the Humber Half Marathon and Fun Run. Organised by Hull Rotary Club, the event attracted more than 1500 runners from around the county with proceeds contributing to Hull Truck Theatre's Star Struck Appeal.
